A little about me….
My name is Graham Hilling (although most people know me as Hillbill or Bill or just g). I was born in 1964 (yes, I am very old), in West London and have not moved far since, living with my partner Deb and (sadly) just one cat now and and two very troublesome rescued rabbits! I’ve always felt compelled to be creative – this has manifested itself in many ways – making music, photography, art.
Prior to settling down I was in loads of punk and metal bands, did a couple of shoestring tours in Europe (great fun!). I then concentrated on solo stuff (with little success!). Some of my music is on the music page – please feel free to check it out. I’m always looking for people to work with, especially singers and lyricists. If you like what I do and want to help, please drop me a line.
I’m a vegan, too. If you’re interested in this lifestyle check out the vegan society website (www.vegansociety.com) to find out why this makes sense for you aswell as the planet (I’m no preacher though!)
I hope you enjoy your visit, please feel free to comment – I’m always interested to hear what people think of my work. My live music images can be seen in many online publications but the (almost) complete collection is on my other website – The Concrete Shell, the name comes from the idea that certainly in big cities everyone builds their own walls around themselves to keep the outside well and truly out. It would be nice if we could break these barriers, down and embrace our differences and all that make us unique (all old hippy stuff I know, but wouldn’t it be cool…..).
We live in a very grey, dark world, trouble around every corner, it would be great if we could all just add a touch of colour – this is my attempt!
Remember, even concrete doesn’t last forever…….
Enjoy your visit!!
